The structure of Lessons.
Every day you will be given the assignment for two consecutive sections of textbook chapter ( we will cover 1 section a day ) :
 a) for the current section you will complete assignment and Review problems
 b) for the next section you will take notes ( including all definitions and examples ), and will answer the questions to the text material.
It means that you will complete the problems from the section that had been discussed in class, and you will read, take notes for the next section on your own. On the next day we will discuss this section in class.
So, it is very important to read the given section slowly and thoughtfully, paying attention to each word, diagram and symbol.
Reread section if it is unclear to you. Mark down the questions you found difficult to understand. Ask them in class.

Tests
Generally occur every 2-3 weeks and are listed on the assignment sheet. The day before a test you will be given an open notebook/home work Quiz. You will be asked to copy from your notebook certain homework or classwork problems (corrected).
